Three European influences on one day in Birmingham

In the post- Brexit days of Britain I was delighted that one day I spent in Birmingham involved three events all with a European aspect:  a visit to a gallery to see the work of Lithuanian artist Žilvinas Kempinas; a talk at the Birmingham Literature Festival between Italian Diago Marani and German Frank Witzel; and to top it all, a concert with Frenchman Jean Michel Jarre.
